Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) It was BRAVE of her to be NICER to her friend than she deserved, especially after the fiasco at the DINER.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) He began to CHASE her as soon as they met. It wasn’t long before she responded positively. It was hard not to GLOAT about how well they got along, and how easy it was. There would be no need to ABORT this set-up. There was no doubt ABOUT it, introducing a new puppy into the household was giving their old gal a new lease on life. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The WHOLE audience of family members were PROUD of their graduates as they walked across the stage to receive their diplomas.  But it did STOUN me when my son won an award ABOUT school spirit and participation.  I had no idea he was so involved.

Image
Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) She could hardly believe that, after all they’d been through, he would CHEAT on her again. The DRIVE-by confirmed that he was where he should not have been. So much for the REWED ceremony they had a few months before, on their 10th anniversary. What a farce! Well, she thought, this is not my first RODEO.  This time there was no second chance.  She was done. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) She liked to STARE at the flames in the kiln as her next pottery creation was FIRED, before putting it in the DRYER to prepare them for sale at the RODEO.

Wordle #735 (June 24, 2023)

Image
Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) She was no LOVER of romance novels. She thought they were TRASH. Not even worthy of the “BRAIN-candy” moniker so often given to them. The few she’d actually read (at the insistence of others) were full of unrealistic GRAND gestures, saccharine songs, and were poorly written to boot.    Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The WATER flowed swiftly down the ROMAN aqueduct towards the town where ANGRY citizens raised their voices in protest because the water by-passed the town reservoir and went directly to the GRAND palace of the regional governor.

Wordle #734 (June 23, 2023)

Image
Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) I decided not to CHASE, but to stick to my CREED. Admittedly, it was hard not to see the COMET that streaked across the sky at the moment of decision as some sort of cosmic sign. But of what? That the decision was right, or to continue to not only COVET, but to pursue with focus and energy. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) She submitted a photo of a HERON to the Facebook group but the moderator TOSED her out because the group was only centered around small song birds.  Upset with her banishment from the group she went on a spontaneous bird watching trip, staying in MOTEL after motel along her route. It was during this trip that she really learned to COVET her time alone and out in nature.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) The way in which they called the order for boarding the PLANE felt like a bit of a CASTE system - first class, then those at the front, moving toward the back. She didn’t think it particularly logical. In her HASTE to get to the airport and to board she forgot that she’d only taken the time to BASTE the hem of her pants, and they were already starting to drop. It had been a WASTE of time since she was going to have to do it all over again properly, leaving a bit of a bitter TASTE in her mouth, but she knew that she was the only one to blame.  Stephanie’s Words First word: Proud Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The gladiator was PROUD that he had SLAIN the lion with HASTE so he did not WASTE any time.  And while he felt bad to have BASTE the beast so thoroughly he was happy that his victory had advanced him to a higher CASTE and he would soon TASTE the sweet fruits of his labors.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) The driver resented that he had to PLEAD with his passengers to see the map so that he could CHART their route along the old historic WAGON paths. He was shocked when they next asked if they could stop at a KABOB stand! Where in the midwest would there be one of those? He feared that the next thing that they would ask is that he start playing an old time banjo or, god forbid, the KAZOO. He often wondered if the job  was worth it. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The gunk in the DRAIN was like a thick PASTE that had coated the sides of the pipes like CAULK. That’s the PRICE one has to pay to combat rising CRIME in the city.
