Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) The SLATE titles looked perfect in the front foyer. It had been hard for the contractor to find a GROUT to match that also had no chemicals in it. While not TOXIC, the home owners were insistent that all products be as natural as possible. The contractor enjoyed retelling his friends over a gin and TONIC (or 3) with the weird and wonderful requests he’d received from clients over the years, and how he’d managed to accommodate them. It was his favourite TOPIC. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The PRIME rib had to be left out for one hour to come to room temperature before cooking.  But it might SPOIL if left out much longer so they had to set a timer.  The TOPIC of food spoilage was one he often researched on Google before cooking.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) They took a SHARP look at the dark CLOUD that suddenly enveloped them. They had to move fast to remove  the rest of the MOULD from the outside of the foundation or they WOULD lose their window of opportunity. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) He did not like to wear any pants with a PLEAT while at work because inevitably his LUNCH WOULD end up in the pleats.

By the time they got home they were utterly SPENT.  Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) Whenever the sun would SHINE she would run along the river path with many a STEND until she was quite SPENT.

THESE were the kind of trails he loved to create.   Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) My uncle used to SHINE shoes for THOSE men who were too busy or lazy to shine their own.  One of THESE days I will get around to shining mine!

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) He had such a huge STAKE in the outcome of the game that when things didn’t look like they were going their way, he started to SHOUT even though there was no way that the players could have heard him from the back bleachers. He was wearing his team SHIRT and other swag, all things he’d convinced himself would help SHIFT the trajectory of the semifinals. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The new floor manager had to LEARN how to SHOUT above the factory noise during his SHIFT so the workers could hear his instructions.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) The design STYLE they chose is such a beautiful blend of both of their sensibilities that it was difficult to tell WHOSE vision it was initially. Their HOUSE is a true expression and reflection of who they are as a couple. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) She liked to PAINT on the rocks by the SHORE near the colourful little wooden HOUSE that she sometimes included in her paintings.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) The BREAD was so PLAIN and stale it was like something they might have served the CHAIN gang. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) He liked to POWER cycle by standing as he pedaled . But every so often the pedal would get STUCK. He remembered as a CHILD he would constantly have to reset his bicycle CHAIN. It might be time for a tune-up he thought.

  Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) The old SPICE cologne that he was wearing on the hike was probably a poor choice. As they approached the SWAMP area he became swarmed by mosquitos and  other insects, one of which had a very SHARP stinging like bite. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The FLAME in the STAND of old growth forest had ignited from a SPARK caused by a campfire.  Luckily, the campers were SHARP and knew what to do and managed to put out the fire before it spread.

They were sure to get a good SLEEP tonight! Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) She had to GROAN as she SPIED her friend’s Wordle score.  Despite counting SHEEP she was unable to get a good night’s SLEEP and that was her excuse.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) She decided to keep a CHART of the different BAGEL types they'd tried, in order to AVOID the ones that she or members of her family didn't like. It was sometimes hard to remember since there were so many choices, and the WOMAN knew herself well enough to know that she needed to document things like this.  Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) I was too PROUD to borrow MONEY from a WOMAN who had  beat me at Wordle!

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) The luxury SUITE at the top of the hotel felt as if they were as high as the clouds. Looking down from the expansive windows onto the ancient FORUM, that seemed so small from that height, was a heady experience for the YOUNG couple.  Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The SLOPE was not much more than a small MOUND, hardly the FOUNT of skiing challenge that this YOUNG athlete craved.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) Her HEART really wasn’t into picking out the colour of GROUT to be used in the bathroom renovation. She started making a bit of a SPORT of it, to have some fun, recognizing that this really was the WORST task. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The dark CLOUD passed over the TOWER in a dramatic scene that was WORTH the trip up the steep hill, and wouldn’t be the WORST way to get exercise.

He would AWAIT the holiday season and ADAPT his diet to allow him some wiggle room to splurge.  Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) He had to SHOUT at the CRAFT fair to be heard over the cacophony of crowd chatter, as he tried to explain to his customer that the PLANT she was considering could ADAPT well to a dry climate and so was particularly good as a low maintenance addition to her indoor collection.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) The SPEAR was covered in GRIME, telling the story of how it had been used to GORGE many an enemy. It was a typical depiction for that GENRE of painting.  Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The mysterious SLIME on the window inspired him, and DROVE him to write a horror story WHERE strange occurrences befell the protagonist. It was not his usual GENRE but he felt sufficient inspiration to try a new type of writing.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) He used his blade to SCORE the thick paper to be able to more easily PLEAT it. At the height of the summer the HEATH became almost unbearably hot, so he'd TAKEN to bringing the homemade paper fan with him on his daily walk.  Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The church decor was PLAIN. The church elders did not want to ADORN the church with lots of distractions, but keep it as a peaceful and modest HAVEN for the parishioners. The hoped that this approach would WAKEN the deep spiritual lives of the worshippers before they were TAKEN fro this world.

The colour reminded her of the beautiful piece of jewelry set in RESIN that she’d been gifted all those years ago. Stephanie’s Words   Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) THEIR RELIC was made of RESIN but my relic was authentic!

He quite liked her SPUNK, spontenaity, and willingness to try anything at least once - including SUSHI. 🍣  Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) She CHOSE the Sashimi because the rice looked MUSHY and that’s not how she likes her SUSHI.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) In my excitement and HASTE I unintentionally knocked some of the mushroom SPORE off of the rotting log and watched helplessly as it rolled down the SLOPE and into the stream below. I wasn’t sure what the SCOPE of the damage would be, hoping that there would be some left there to harvest for propagating. Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The HOUSE cellar had evidence of a mold infestation with a SPORE here and a spore there.  The SLOPE of the surrounding ground was not conducive to a dry basement and regrading was just part of the SCOPE for remediation.
