Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) There was a large LODGE on the property that had ample space for many different events. One of the most popular was a weekend retreat for spoken poetry; an opportunity for the artists to speak ALOUD what they’d written and to receive feedback. That weekend the theme was about challenging the BLONDE Barbie trope in western culture.  Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The CLOUD burst with a thundering bang and a FLOOD of rain descended on the man and his BLOND companion before they could take cover.

Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) He knew the SPARE sandwich WOULD be eaten at LUNCH, and was glad that he’d sent it along.  Stephanie’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Albert, using Stephanie’s words) The light from his flashlight SHONE brightly over the now pitch black camp site.  He thought to himself how HANDY it was to have such a light to PUNCH through the darkness.  He had not eaten since LUNCH and was using the light to look for food in their supplies.

They THREW themselves into telling the story of how they met and fell in love with delightful abandon.  He had to SHARE his table with another DINER, which normally would have been okay however the GRIEF he was experiencing threatened to overtake him. He took a BRIEF moment to acknowledge her, and then went back to reading his novel.  The TRADE ROUTE was a well known path, having been used for centuries.  He slammed his hands down on the TABLE in frustration. If anyone had asked he would  SWEAR that his voice could easily REACH the teens holed up until their bedrooms, and he was sure they’d HEARD him.  I thought that my SHARE of the work would give me some CLOUT in influencing the decisions GOING forward. Instead I fe

January 5, 2024 (#930) LUNGE January 6 (#931) CABLE January 7 (#932) STONY January 8 (#933) FINAL January 9 (#934) LINER Albert’s Words Micro Tale (Written by Stephanie, using Albert’s words) The PIANO teacher was quite STERN with her students, but it meant that no one was ever on the FENCE about whether they liked playing or not. If they didn’t practice she would LUNGE into a full on lecture about the benefits of consistency, having respect for their talent, and for each other’s time.  The farmer was CLEAR that he needed to help the cow to CALVE, as the calf was inverted. In the end they needed to use a CABLE to help secure and calm the mama cow so that could get in there safely.  The WATER the young SCOUT brought for the half day hike was not nearly enough, and as a result he began to move at a SLOTH-like pace. The group STOOD to wait for him at the peak, near a large STONY outcropping. It was odd to see a shipping CRATE painted with a large DAISY. The FINAL result was rather whimsic

He was surprised when he realized the SALTY taste at the corner of his mouth were from the tears streaming down his face.  In looking at it more closely, I truly didn’t understand why there was what looked to be a SHARE of GROAT next to the QURAN. It was a strange MURAL, and I still wonder what it was trying to ‘say’.  They had a WHALE of a time exploring and partying together - and even though he was considerably older, he was certainly no SAINT! The AGING process looked good on him.  She would have considered a TRADE for almost anything she possessed to have had the chance to dance and TWIRL on stage with Karen Kane.  MANIC was not typically a word used to describe Gregorian CHANT, but in this odd case the list of other possi
